Jean Robert Viita  is a self-taught keyboardist, vocalist and composer.

As a 10 year-old I formed in 1970 the band Steppin’ Rabbits that kept it going well into the 80’s. He played with Broadway News in 77/78 and later joined bands like Mikkel Magnus Band, Bell Boys, Take Off, Desert Breeze and Roadcall.

Jeanni was co arranger, composer and keyboardist on several recordings and shows.

He was one of the musicians for a young and relatively unknown artist Celine Dion on a Norwegian TV show.

In 2001 Jeanni formed the Prog-Rock band The Windmill and released several albums that received marvellous reviews especially abroad. He is still active with  The Windmill and joined Saluki in 2023.
